Diversity management and gender equity in organizations

Gender equality is based on the recognition that, historically, women have been discriminated against. Therefore, it is vital to take actions to reduce the gaps between men and women in order to make gender equality effective. That is, to eliminate historical disadvantages and change the situations that prevent women from exercising their rights. It is also recognized that inequality can be worsened by factors such as ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, socioeconomic level, etc.


This should be done not only at the discursive level, but also at the practical level (processes, protocols, concrete actions, among others).


Objective

With this course, Corewoman seeks to recognize the importance of managing diversity and gender equity in organizations, acquire tools to do so from the individual and organizational perspective, and learn to build indicators to measure the measures implemented.

People who recognize the importance of working on these issues in the organization, and have tools to measure and promote diversity and gender equity in the organization.
